Global travel risk management company World Travel Protection (WTP) has appointed Phil Peart as Senior Investigations Manager for the Asia-Pacific region.

Mr Peart is responsible for managing the new Special Investigations Unit for the WTP Global Security Team and supporting clients through the provision of corporate investigation services.

He comes to WTP with decades of investigations experience and his addition provides the company with a global network of investigators that can be leveraged to support clients.

“I have been fortunate to develop a unique set of skills and experience that I bring to the Special Investigations Unit,” Mr Peart says.

“I am looking forward to working closely with our clients to identify risks and help reduce their exposure to fraud, insider threat and malicious acts.

“While my contribution to World Travel Protection will be wide and varied, I especially look forward to establishing a formidable cornerstone for the delivery of investigation services globally.”

With 40 years of experience as an investigator, Mr Peart has been a regular presenter at fraud conferences in Asia, the USA and Europe, and has developed a range of training programs to help organisations better understand their exposure to fraud and other business risks.

Mr Peart was the publisher of The Investigator and Fraud International magazines in Australia and has worked and lived in the US and Shanghai, working for some of the world’s largest investigation and security firms.

He will report to WTP General Manager of Global Security Services, Rodger Cook.

“We are fortunate to have Phil on board and his experience will be invaluable in building WTP’s investigations capability into a market-leading service, delivering training and investigation services for our clients,” Mr Cook says.
