Tenable Network Security has announced that its popular vulnerability management platform, Nessus, delivers enhanced security visibility and system hardening for Microsoft Azure cloud environments. Tenable now provides the broadest cloud coverage available with support for three major cloud environments – Azure, Amazon Web Services and Rackspace.

Agents perform localised assessments on virtual systems and portable devices such as laptops, remote or difficult-to-scan systems, and send the data back to a central platform via Nessus Cloud or Nessus Manager. Additional capabilities include advanced vulnerability analytics, reporting and dashboards that provide organisations with a consolidated view of data across the entire IT environment.
