Motorola Solutions will demonstrate how its advanced, mission-critical solutions enable public safety and enterprise organisations to overcome their most complex challenges at Critical Communications World 2019 (June 18-20, MITEC, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, booth G30).
At CCW 2019, Motorola Solutions will showcase a comprehensive set of innovations spanning mission-critical communications, command centre software, video security solutions and managed and support services.
Mission-critical communications are essential to maintaining safety and security for our communities, from daily operations to extreme events including disaster recovery. These solutions are essential for the Asia Pacific region, as evidenced by a United Nations report estimating that economic losses from natural disasters could reach USD$160 billion annually by 2030. Market research firm IDC predicts that the world’s data sources will grow from 33 zettabytes in 2018 to 175 zettabytes by 2025. IDC also claims that nearly 30 per cent of that data will require real-time processing**. To overcome information overload, it is crucial for public safety and enterprise workers to get the right information at the right time and to unify the data captured both on the scene and in the control room.

A recent report shows that more governments are increasing their spend on the use of video security and analytics***, with estimates that growth will increase to 30.5% through to 2023****. The need for advanced video security in clear, as is the need for sophisticated video analytics software to analyse the ever growing volumes of data that video systems generate.

Providing security operators with greater ease of access, Motorola Solutions’ demonstrations of the Avigilon Control Centre will show how AI can be used to automatically flag suspicious or unusual behaviour while taking context into account. For example, it can identify vehicles using seldom trafficked access roads or persons loitering at normally high-traffic areas. Customers can also experience true video content search functions that enable system users to simply tap on the image of a person in a security feed and find anyone with a similar appearance.
