Chris Smith, Head of Security & Fraud Risk of HSBC (Asia Pacific), Hong Kong, will speak on information security threats to banking at the ASIS 6th Asia-Pacific Security Forum & Exhibition. The event will be held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Hong Kong, China on 3-5 December 2012.

Chris Smith has spent the past 25 years in the corporate security environment, in the UK, Africa, Europe and the Middle East. He has worked for international hotel groups and financial institutions. His current role in HSBC, as the Head of Security & Fraud Risk for Asia Pacific involves financial crime risk management, physical protective security, business continuity management, information security risk management and geo-political risk.

Chris is a Steering Group Member of the Asia Crisis and Security Group, Past Co-Chairman of the Asia Sister Banks Group, Past Chairman of OSAC (Hong Kong & Macau) and member of ASIS International. He has a master degree in crime risk management. The ASIS 6th Asia-Pacific Security Forum & Exhibition will cover a wide range of security issues in 24 high-level educational sessions delivered by industry leaders.
