Matthew Brazier Appointed Regional Director of ANZ
CyberArk has announced the appointment of Matthew Brazier as Regional Director of Australia and New Zealand based in Sydney.
At the same time, the company has announced Jeffrey Kok as the Senior Director of Presales for Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ), and the appointments of Rohan Vaidya as Regional Director of India and Akihiro (Aki) Hompu as Regional Director of Japan.
With a background of building high performing sales teams within security vendors such as Fortinet and Check Point, Matthew Brazier, most recently at BT Global Services, has joined CyberArk to lead the Australia and New Zealand team. His focus is to build on CyberArk’s established business in the region, driving further growth through strategic account development and a channel-focused go-to-market model.
“Matthew is a team-focused individual who will lead our efforts to help customers adopt a ‘post breach’ mentality,” said Vincent Goh, Vice President of Sales, Asia Pacific and Japan, CyberArk. “As organisations in Australia and New Zealand look to implement the security policies and tool to help them deal with attackers who may already be in their networks, Matthew’s consultative approach will be essential in ensuring that CyberArk will be their partner of choice as they seek to mitigate the associated risks.”
CyberArk continues to invest in expanding its business in APJ, building a stronger channel to increase the company’s reach and better service in-region organisations, extending the company’s presence across the theatre.
Jeffrey Kok is now responsible for identifying the critical business issues and drivers while nurturing opportunities throughout the sales cycle. His role will be to forge deeper customer relationships, strengthen collaborations and form a larger network of alliances with both existing and prospective customers, as well as CyberArk’s partner community in APJ.
“An established pre-sales leader and security technology professional, Jeffrey is the outstanding choice to lead our pre-sales organisation in the Asia Pacific and Japan region,” said Goh, Vice “His wide ranging set of skills in technical, pre and post-sales environments as well as cyber security domain knowledge, especially in identity, network and cryptography, are fundamental as we continue to build a world class Asia Pacific organisation.”
Responsible for spearheading the sales initiatives in India, Rohan Vaidya is working to build the capabilities and resources to lead the growth and development of CyberArk in the country. He is also responsible for the continued engagement with CyberArk’s current customer base in India.
“Rohan was a clear choice for CyberArk in India as his track record has demonstrated success in building profitable businesses. His skill set and reputation for building effective teams to support customers, driving business through effective sales, marketing, technical consulting and management was a key consideration for us.” explained Goh. “His appointment provides an ideal platform to build a leadership position in the rapidly developing cyber security space in the sub-continent.”
Formerly of Check Point, WatchGuard Technologies and other leading technology vendors, Akihiro Hompu is responsible for building CyberArk’s Japanese team, the channel ecosystem and promoting customer understanding of CyberArk’s security offerings.
“Aki has a huge amount of experience in high-touch enterprise sales as well as channel and partner development in the Japanese market”, said Goh. “We will look to Aki to capitalise on this experience, leading and inspiring CyberArk’s Japan team, driving channel awareness and, ultimately, ensuring Japanese public and private sector organisations understand how our cyber security offerings are essential elements of defence policies in an increasingly risky IT environment.
