Crowdstrike_LogoCrowdStrike is continuing to bolster its senior leadership in the ANZ region by appointing industry veteran, Brett Raphael as its managing director. This move comes on the heels of two other strategic hires: Michael Sentonas being named the company’s vice president of technology strategy for the region in June, and Simon Walker taking the role of senior director of marketing.

In his role, Raphael will be responsible for driving sales, business development and customer/partner retention. He will also accelerate and manage regional market demand for CrowdStrike’s industry-leading, endpoint protection platform, intelligence and response services. Raphael has nearly 20 years of experience in the APAC IT industry and has held leadership positions at Symantec, Dell and most recently, Intel Security, where he served as general manager of enterprise, commercial & public sector. Raphael will be based here in Sydney, Australia and will report to Vice President, World Wide Sales & Operations, Scott Fuselier.

CrowdStrike is seeing increased demand for its Falcon platform in ANZ, and includes Telstra as a local customer. The company’s technology also recently became the first signature-less, machine learning engine to integrate with Google’s VirusTotal malware database.
