Hills has made a number of key appointments to strengthen practice areas and improve strategic direction.
Daniel Lee – Head of CCTV, Surveillance and IT Distribution Practice
As part of the full integration of Lan 1 into Hills, Daniel Lee has progressed from his role as Managing Director of Lan 1 into a key role within Hills as Head of CCTV, Surveillance and IT Distribution Practice. Daniel was a founding member of FaxHQ – the World’s first Network Fax Software – and established Lan 1, a leading value-added Distributor in IP Storage, IP Networking, IP Security and IP CCTV & Surveillance. Hills acquired Lan 1 in 2013. Daniel has over 20 years of experience in sales, marketing and business operations. Born in Singapore, Daniel is multi-lingual in English, Mandarin and Cantonese. As the new Head of Hills as Head of CCTV, Surveillance and IT Distribution Practice, Daniel is responsible for building out Hills’ solution range in this area, with a particular focus on next generation IP based technology solutions.
Kobi Ben-Shabat – Head of Security, Access Control and Fire
Following Hills acquisition and integration of Open Platform Systems (OPS) into its broader business structure, Kobi Ben-Shabat has progressed from his role as Managing Director of OPS into a key role within Hills as Head of Security, Access Control and Fire. Kobi was the founder and Managing Director of OPS and has held previous roles in sales mainly in IP Video and Security Solutions for the past 12 years. As the new Head of Security, Access Control and Fire, Kobi is responsible for building out Hills’ solution range in this area, with a particular focus on next generation IP based technology solutions.
Stevan Ristic – General Manager for Security Services
Stevan Ristic is the newly appointed General Manager for Security Services at Hills, with responsibility for positioning Hills as the technology partner of choice for the security industry. Stevan is passionate about bringing best-in-class security products and services platforms from around the world to Australia. He has over two decades of experience in the security industry, spanning sales management, project management and product management. Stevan has worked on several major projects, most notably the sale and installation of security systems at Sydney Airport and the Sydney Super Dome – Australia’s largest permanent indoor venue and a key site for the 2000 Sydney Olympics
