25th Security in Government Conference 2013
12-14 August 2013, National Convention Centre, Canberra
The annual SIG Conference, hosted by the Attorney-General’s Department, is the largest gathering of government and private sector protective security practitioners in one conference. Attached to the SIG Conference is a large trade exhibition featuring the most up-to-date protective security related products and technology available both nationally and internationally.
The theme for the SIG 2013 Conference program is Managing Risk in a Resource Constrained Environment. The program will consider the tensions between:
- Growing online threats;
- Increased use of cloud computing;
- The governments agenda to enhance online service delivery; and
- The need to develop protective security practices to address operational risk.
The Hon Mark Dreyfus QC MP, Attorney-General, will give the opening address at SIG 2013.
