The Saab car operation in Australia has failed to find a buyer and will enter administration. This company is no longer related to the defence and security company, Saab Systems which continues operations as normal.
The Swedish defence and security company, Saab AB commenced the automobile company many decades ago but since 1990 has sold off the car operations to General Motors and no longer has any association to the car maker or its dealership network.
Saab Systems in Australia and Saab SDS New Zealand are fully owned subsidiaries of Saab AB which continue successfully in the defence and security markets in Australia, New Zealand and around the world.
