Synectics To Bolster Presence in the UAE

Security and surveillance company Synectics is opening a branch in the UAE to coincide with Intersec 2025 in Dubai later this month.

“Our return to Intersec this year is reflective of a more substantial return to the region,” said Synectics Business Strategy Director David Aindow. “As well as re-establishing a dedicated support office, we intend to work closely with partners throughout the Middle East, where our experience means we are ideally positioned to help a wide range of organisations achieve their goals.”

Synectics says its multi-sector expertise is well suited to the region’s ambitious plans to develop new smart cities, transport systems, healthcare facilities, integrated leisure resorts, and more.

Fresh from launching a new AI Suite in 2024, Synectics will showcase two additional AI-based Synergy features – Forensic Search and a Facial Recognition Module, at Intersec 2025.

Leveraging generative AI, Forensic Search enables users to search footage faster and more accurately with natural language queries. The development will complement Synergy’s extensive range of incident management tools, facilitating rapid investigative reviews.

The new Facial Recognition module provides Synergy users with a unified interface, linked to Synergy’s built-in person of interest capabilities. It, too, will work in unison with the software’s existing incident management features.

To round things off, Synectics’ latest camera solutions, including the company’s COEX camera stations, will also be on show at Intersec.
COEX hazardous and safe area cameras, which feature built-in analytics capabilities, are widely used in the region and beyond. They are widely respected within the oil, gas, marine, and critical infrastructure sectors due to their ability to perform in extreme weather and operating conditions. Various models will be used for live demos as the show, alongside Synectics’ latest 4K IP cameras.

“We’ve never had a more exciting and relevant portfolio of solutions to meet modern security and surveillance needs – in the Middle East and globally,” said Aindow. “We can’t wait to be back at Intersec, speaking to customers and demonstrating the huge potential these latest technologies have to offer.”
