World Travel Protection (WTP) has announced it has promoted Alex Laidlaw to Technical Product Director.
Based in Brisbane, Australia, Mr Laidlaw will be the lead liaison between clients, the sales community and all third-party suppliers.
Mr Laidlaw will oversee the WTP Travel Risk Management (TRM) Solution, WTP Risk Intelligence and other key vendors that encompass the company’s TRM solution.
“I’m excited to be leading the overall TRM product strategy, gathering feedback and engaging customers regarding product enhancements and the optimum rollout of features,” Mr Laidlaw said. “I look forward to working with WTP’s global Customer Success team and cultivating excellent commercial working relationships with all vendors.”
Mr Laidlaw will report to WTP CEO Adrian Leach.
World Travel Protection has also appointed Mike Nole as WTP Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing, based in North America.
Mr Nole will lead a growing marketing and sales team across Australia, North America and EMEA dedicated to bringing WTP’s comprehensive solutions to businesses, governments, scholastic travellers, and NGOs.
“As we return to travel in 2022, organisations face heightened concerns around personal health, data, cyber security, business continuity and reputation,” Mr Nole said.
“WTP is here to help companies understand the new realities of business travel and address these challenges head-on by taking a new approach to travel risk management that is built around our customers.”
