CompTIA ANZ Channel Community elects two new Executive Council members

CompTIA has announced its ANZ Executive Council (EC) for 2018, which includes two newly-elected members.

The two newly-elected EC members are:

  1. Ronnie Altit, CEO and Co-Founder, Insentra
  2. James Bergl, APAC Sales Director, Datto.

Ronnie Altit said, “I consider Insentria and I to be channel-obsessed so I’m excited to be a part of this great forum in ANZ. I’m looking forward to working with the experienced and diverse EC team to help drive the local channel forward.”

James Bergl said, “I’m delighted to be elected into the EC in ANZ. I was a member of CompTIA in the UK and I have had continued exposure to CompTIA through Datto’s involvement particularly in North America. Progressing the IT channel has always been a personal passion and I am excited about leveraging my experience to drive the industry forward and make a positive impact to its future.”

The ANZ EC is now made up of:

  2. Nick Beaugeard, CEO, HubOne (Vice Chair)
  3. Grant Cleary, Senior Business Marketing Manager, Ai Group
  4. Belinda Jurisic, Channel Sales Manager, Citrix
  5. Sean Murphy, Owner, Nexus IT
  6. Nick Verykios, Managing Director, Arrow ECS ANZ
  7. Shelly Duncan, ANZ Channel Manager, Qirx
  8. Daniel Johns, Director of Technical Services, ASI Solutions
  9. Craig Somerville, CEO, Somerville ISNet
  10. Emma Tomlin, Strategic Market Development Manager, Microsoft
  11. Ronnie Altit, CEO and Co-Founder, Insentra
  12. James Bergl, APAC Sales Director, Datto.

Moheb Moses, ANZ community director, CompTIA, and director, Channel Dynamics, said, “We welcome Ronnie and James to the EC and look forward to the contribution they will make in assisting the EC continue to build the local CompTIA community in 2018, and beyond.

“The existing EC has been fundamental delivering on the initiatives that the ANZ channel community voted on this year. With the new EC I expect the community will continue to grow and prosper.”

The next ANZ Channel Community Meeting is scheduled for April 2018. More information about the agenda will follow in the new year.
